Cherokee Bloom micro flower farm began as a return to the earth and a reclamation of art that heals. Each bloom telling its own story of love.
Jade’s story spans continents, cultures and lifetimes’ worth of transformation. Born in South Korea to two military parents, movement was the rhythm of her childhood. Home was everywhere and nowhere, shaped by landscapes, people and the sense that life was always shifting beneath her feet.
Two decades ago, Colorado became the place she started planting roots. Here, she earned her geology degree and discovered the deep, grounding relationship between the earth’s processes and her own. In stone, soil, clay and seeds, she recognized a familiar truth: we are shaped, weathered and remade again.
Alongside her studies, Jade spent more than 20 years immersed in yoga, yoga therapy, herbalism, and the healing arts. She has always been an alchemist. She’s grown her own herbs, crafted tinctures, salves and botanical remedies, creating her first garden when her daughter Kaiyah was born.
It wasn’t until 2022, after the devastating loss of her son, Wolf, that Jade began to work with premium, cut flowers. Grieving, she turned her hands to the earth again and found color, hope, and softness.
In the Fall, Jade followed her heart to Salida, a little town in the center of Colorado known for its mantra “Follow the Hearts to Salida.” This land became her place to root after a lifetime of transience. She bought land, a home, and a shovel. Her roots deepened in Salida, and Cherokee Bloom was born.
Cherokee Bloom is an embodiment of her journey. A micro flower farm rooted in regeneration, reciprocity and belonging. This is a space where soil is nourished, stories are honored and flowers become messages carried in bouquets, offerings and bridal blooms.
Here, Jade grows flowers in the way she’s grown herself: intentionally, season by season. Each stem is touched by a story and every creation is crafted with the belief that beauty can heal.
